C3DIG is a new user group forming in Indianapolis serving the CAD users, designers, Civil Engineers, Surveyors, Geospatial Professionals, Educators, and students surrounding the Central Indiana area. Purpose

• Learning about the software and intuitive workflow solutions
• Sharing software and feature issues and resolutions with other professionals
• Networking and building connections
• Socializing with like-minded individuals

Structure

• All are welcome regardless of software version, reseller, affiliation, or company
• Sponsored by Indydrafter.com for coordination, communications, and online websites/communities
• Users determine leadership structure (if any), future topics, and discussion leader
• Group presentations and discussion are user led, unless guest presenter/speaker is prearranged
• This structure is intended to promote a sustainable group without strict dependencies on any one source

Community Activities

• Quarterly, 2 hour long meetings
• 15-30 minutes social time, food, and beverages
• 60-75 minutes topical presentation/discussion on software
• 15-30 minutes Q&A
• Online communications and updates via C3DIG.com, email newsletters, and Linkedin
• Users to decide upon topics of discussion
• Meeting frequency and dates may change as-needed and as determined by members

• Connect job searchers with organizations looking for qualified individuals
• Educate and advance the skill set of all members
• Promote and market the highly skilled individuals within Central Indiana
• Expand to CAD users, designers, engineers, surveyors, geospatial professionals, educators, students, etc.
• Notify and inform membership of industry news, events, new software, special programs, etc.
• Open lines of communication between professionals
