As you may or may not know, Autodesk University is coming up in just a couple short months. It’s an annual tradition of design geeks of all shapes and sizes coming together to teach, learn, and share in each others’ passions and struggles for the software they use to get the job done. So I’ve reviewed the many resources available to prepare for Autodesk University this year. Well, I have one more that I neglected to mention (because it wasn’t quite ready yet) and that is the Indydrafter AU 2010 protal for all the inside information throughout the entire conference. I’ll be attending events varying from the opening keynotes, bloggers’ social, the AEC social, the ATC Summit, AUGI Annual Meeting, AUGI Beer Bust, and so much more.

It is where we all come together to share in something we love: our design software, how to be more productive with it, and networking with like-minded people…thousands of them. Early registration for Autodesk University 2009 has begun today and the lines are officially open. Anyone that is registered on AU Online, AUGI, and through certain Autodesk Resellers are invited to take part in early registration for AU 2009. If you don’t fall into any of those categories, you have a little more time to wait, but don’t worry, the early bird special rates go on until October 9th. The Autodesk University 2009 Speaker Schedule has been released. Of course, if the speaker schedule is available, that also means that you can now see the classes being offered. It may be a little difficult to find the classes you are interested in at this point because the schedule is organized by speaker, as opposed to by class.
