Autodesk Users Group International (augi.com) has released a special edition of their monthly “HotNews” covering the the ins and outs of how the AUGI Wish List is developed, how it works, and what the benefits are of it. AUGI is also including the official results of all four wish lists (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit Architecture, and Inventor). You can find all of these articles at the AUGI HotNews page. AutoCAD Fields in Sheet Set Manager

Lesson 2 is essentially two lessons tied into one-creating a title block template applying AutoCAD Fields to traditional methods, as well as creating a Sheet Set Template to utilize the Fields in the title block.  Needless to say, be prepared for a long, but extremely useful lesson. Indydrafter.com has now added support for Gravatar registered avatars. Gravatars are globally recognized avatars which you register in association with your email address. When you register with that email address to any blog, forum, or other site that supports Gravatars, your register avatar will appear with your comments and posts. The great part about this, is that you can register multiple email accounts and multiple avatars in any combination with Gravatar and everything is automated from there on out. Some of you may have come back to Indydrafter.com and seen some changes recently. First, but probably least important, I’ve added a new stylized page header. The next major change that I have made is eliminating the “News” and “LAUG-IC” navigation tabs in favor of “News and “LAUG-IC” categories. This aids in posting running information in a blog format, which will allow better cataloging of posts, a quick tag search for specific topics, and easier navigation through the pages giving the readers the choice of seeing all posts together or …

Autodesk University online is now closed to class proposals. There are over 200 more proposals submitted for this year’s 2009 Autodesk University compared to 2008. Go to Autodesk University Online to vote for which classes you want to see there. If you don’t have an AU Online account, register as an AU Online Member.
